The World Energy Foundation is on a mission to help communities that lack access to electricity leapfrog the grid.

The World Energy Foundation (TWEF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to human progress and the protection and preservation of nature on a global scale. We use technology to deliver renewable energy to those who need it most.

Our mission is to deliver affordable, clean, reliable, and sustainable energy to communities in developing countries that currently lack access to electricity, with initial interventions focused on providing power to educational and healthcare facilities. Our projects, which begin as site-specific sustainable energy equipment installations, grow into community-wide economic development initiatives, with the end goals of alleviating poverty and promoting shared prosperity on a foundation of clean, sustainable energy.

Founded in 2013, TWEF has set out to change the way the world thinks about energy. The archaic idea that energy is a commodity is no longer applicable to our globalized community. This old way of powering our lives has crippled our home planet to a near irreparable state.

There must be a paradigm shift in our global culture to put the focus on renewable energy technology.

This idea is the driving force behind The World Energy Foundation. Our goal is to help developing nations “leapfrog the grid,” because energy belongs to everyone and everything, it is a right shared by the entire global ecosystem.

Today, we possess the technology and means to deliver renewable energy to all walks of life across the globe and we intend to do just that.

Join us in our coalition for the freedom of energy.
